2 Information We Collect

When you install the App, we automatically access certain information from your Shopify account:

Store Information Store name, owner name, email address, and store domain.
Product Data We access your store's product information to allow you to create, modify, and sync AI-generated books as digital products.
Order Information We read order data (orders/create) to automatically fulfill purchases of digital products by sending download links to your customers.
Customer Information We only access customer names and email addresses when an order is placed for a BookBlitz product, specifically to facilitate digital delivery.

4 Third-Party Services

We use industry-standard third-party services to provide our functionality:

OpenAI / AI Providers AI Generation

We use OpenAI's API to generate book content, covers, and audiobooks. Data sent to OpenAI is processed in accordance with their privacy policy and Business Terms. We do not use your data to train OpenAI's models.

Shopify Platform

We operate within the Shopify platform and adhere to Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms of Use. All data exchange occurs through secure Shopify APIs.

Cloud Storage Providers Storage

Generated digital products and assets are stored securely using encrypted cloud storage services (AWS S3 or similar) to ensure reliable delivery to your customers.
